Smh! If you are wondering, yes, I complained to the front desk when I checked out. I did learn a valuable lesson, however, always check your linens, even at a Hilton. There is no excuse for these linens! From start to finish, this was pathetic and not Hilton quality. Perhaps that is why we received the room with no balcony and torn curtains. What in the world? Disgusting! We used our Hilton Honor points. Concerned, I pulled back the covers on my bed to discover a stain that had something inside of it. I opened the curtains and saw the pink stuff all over my son's bed. I didn't see how the linens looked until the next morning. (This was approximately 0300.) So, security was poor. I tried to push it closed when we left but it was jammed in some way. When I left to take my son to the airport, the door leading from the stairwell to outside was open. Apparently that area is reserved for the shuttles as there were two parked vans there when I arrived. Every hotel I have ever stayed in allowed us to park in what I would normally call the "welcoming" area. We walked back to the lobby to wait for our room where I got to stand in line again for check in. After getting yelled at for blocking the driveway I parked the car in the lot near the building where I was told I might get to spend the night. I left my 13 year old son in the car for check in because the hotel is pretty expansive and check-ins are normally quick. I had parked behind a car that was behind one of the vans. Got yelled at for parking my car in the circular driveway. Had to stand in line, twice, so between waking him and that, check in took an hour. Check in took forever because my husband didn't put my name on the reservation so I wasn't permitted to check in. Worst hotel experience ever! Struggled to find hotel, no illuminated sign.
